So, webshooter thing. Retarded but frighteningly believable. At first I was ok with it but now I got agree about it being bad. I mean, Pete's suppose to be able to hold his own when it comes to this kinda stuff, and with him being that young they better show him being able to handle something as "easy" as webshooters. Stark making them would be a be miss for Pete's character, imo. |

Do you guys not realise that Spider-Man has always been guided by the older heroes?
Whether it's Cap, Stark, Thor, Reed Richards or Daredevil, Spider-Man has always been helped and guided by other heroes. Stark is just the main selling point of the MCU so in this universe he becomes the mentor.

We are aware, and with Spidey being the age he is there will be plenty of room for that to happen, I just think Stark creating the web shooters for Pete is kinda rubbish. It'd be better if Pete had preliminary web shooters that he doesn't have much control over and don't go very far, and Stark gives him "Mk. 2" web shooters and a new suit. I'd be okay with that. I feel taking away the creation of web shooters from Pete also takes away an opportunity to show off some of Pete's character and intelligence. It's like Lucius Fox giving Batman all his gadgets (already made gadgets, it's like Lucius even made them) instead of Batman making them himself.  I'm calling BS on the rumor anyway though, it is LR after all. |
