Do you guys think race swapping Bond would require a reboot? Hell, do you think they'll reboot anyway once Craig leaves the role?

I was looking at some on comments on here and holy shit, a Bond film starring Henry Cavill and Marion Cotillard and directed by Nolan would be perfect.

I think they're more just going to be developing the women as good as they can which they've been doing for a long time.
Bond is supposed to be a little cold and doesn't stay with the women in the films (at least the Craig films) because of the events in Casino Royale.

I'm torn on what I want to see next. Part of me wants to see this new continuity keep going, like the old one, but I'm not sure if that'll work anymore. But if they reboot, it means another reinvention of the franchise and they've got it down pat with this version already.

I think they can keep going with this one since Craig's films have served as the origins of Bond it would be dumb to reboot after his next film after Spectre. Just keep using the continuity I say.

A little bit of me wants to see Cavill play a younger Bond in his earlier days, but Casino Royale touched on that already. And if they did that, they'd either A) have to throw out continuity if they were going to put it in the Craig film series (which doesn't really work since that's what the whole reboot was about), or they'd have to reboot yet again (further adding to reboot fatigue and calling for a change in the already perfect formula).

I don't have a problem with Elba as Bond, but that brings up similar issues that Cavill does. Would that require a reboot or could they get away with that?

STAHP SUGGESTING CUMBERBATCH FOR EVERYTHING! Bond is supposed to at least be attractive. That's something Cumberbatch isn't.
