Captain Phasma was probably the only flaw in the movie. She had like, what, three scenes. They build her up to be some badass and that's all we got. Although they didn't kill her off, so I imagine she will be back later in a large capacity? Hopefully.

The fact that the first 50 minutes of the movie are a non stop ride and then it just keeps going to the credits is astounding.
Kylo Ren was my favorite character from the new cast, love everything about him and his story.
That scene with him and Han was so well handled and acted that I could feel the emotion. Then of course someone gets stabbed and I felt my heart drop and immediately tears welled up in my eyes.
Can't wait to see it again Sunday, this time in IMAX!

Huh, I just realised two things: 1) Poe and Rey never meet 2) Rey and Leia's hug at the end is their first time meeting

I don't think I'm going to feel anything for the CBMs next year like I felt last night. Maybe BvS, and that's a strenuous maybe. The Force Awakened has set the standard for me.

I couldn't care about the Anthology movies at all. We already know a lot of people will probably die in Rogue One and guess what? They get the plans. Oooooooooooooo.

My only gripes about the movie is Captain Phasma, The ending (he could have at least said something!) and, well, It didn't bother me too much but I just don't really get the justification the first order had for starkiller base.

I mean, I'm not sure if I had a religious experience when I saw the movie. It was very good, but I'm still extremely excited for Batman v Superman and other movies. One thing that lets the force awakens down for me is how much of the plot was "heavily inspired" by mainly a new hope.

It should be cool. I'm more excited for it now than I was before. More star wars is always good in my book, especially when it shows stuff we haven't seen before

There are enough differences that make TFA stand out on its own.

Huh, I just realised two things: 1) Poe and Rey never meet 2) Rey and Leia's hug at the end is their first time meeting There were rumors that we were gonna get a Han/Leia like relationship between Poe and Rey in this trilogy. At this point it seems like a bum rumor, although I really want to see how they interact.

Phasma was extremely over hyped. She barley had any screen time and was made to sound like she was going to be a messiah. I need to watch it again, but it seems like Ren had less screen time than expected as well. This isn't a complaint by any means, I was just kinda surprised and wish we could have seen more of him, especially at the end. He went off in Ep. IV Vader fashion, but it would have been amazballs to see what he'll look like now that he's all fucked up.
Aside from those two tiny little things, it was perfect. Like, those complaints = size of the Death Star. Everything good with the film = Starkiller size.

I'm having a hard time to put in words aside from that. My brain is still computing everything.
