I wonder how hiding the Adam Driver as Kylo Ren would have worked out. I imagine everybody would have been throwing around names like Fassbender and Cumberbatch, and it'd be one helluva shock to see it be Driver.

Well, like I said a few pages back, the major trades expected that Rey, Poe, Finn, and Kylo Ren are suppose to anchor the trilogy, with Ren even serving a Darth Vader like role (we already know Snoke is likely his leader, which means we should be seeing Snoke in a Emperor type role). |

Kylo Ren will more than likely have an arc about him turning away from the Knights of Ren and eventually becoming a hero, hence why we have Snoke and other villains too.

I like it though that they're using ideas from the original expanded universe instead of adapting it.

The solo twins has been the most popular fan theory for the film ever since the cast was announced. Even Abrams said that if they revealed the (true) names of certain characters they'd be spoilers. |
