Well, it's here already. The 2016 NFL offseason. For some it's sooner than others, but then again, some of us are sadly used to that. Blackjack

Chip Kelly to San Francisco. Looks like Caepernick will get a second chance. Jim Caldwell is staying in Detroit. The Eagles are getting KC's OC coach.

BlackjackThe draft is going to be interesting this year. Three teams within the top five need a QB: Browns, Cowboys, and Chargers. Browns need one the most as they have nothing right now. Romo is 36 and cannot stay healthy, and Phillips is 34. The Chargers might hold off out of the three. Also, Philly is floating around 10-13 and they need at QB as well. Very possible the Titans trade with someone especially to get the jump on the Browns.

San Diego won't draft a QB while still having Rivers on their roster, they'll probably give Rivers another year and then trade him (he's had his ups and downs but he has still phenomenal value). I don't think Cleveland is going to draft another QB either, Josh McCown did fine last year and the last thing Cleveland needs is more young QB drama. Dallas, eh I don't know, with Jerry Jones drafting a QB seems like the fucked up thing he'd do but we all know it'll take the cold, hard grips of death to take Romo away from Jones. Jilly, all three of those teams have a viable QB (for this year at least)... Dallas and San Diego should trade out. San Diego specifically. Trade out this year, stockpile picks, then next year trade Rivers and stockpile even more picks. Houston, San Francisco, and maybe Philly and St. Louis Los Angeles needs QBs this year and could easily pounce on them in the draft.

McCown isn't a franchise QB; he's a solid starter but not one that's going to get the Browns over the hump in the AFC North. Romo is okay, but you can't bank on him being health as he has not for the past three years. Plus, he is old and you have to start thinking about the future and Dallas may not get another low draft pick. Huston for sure will drink from the QB fountain.

But at this point, there's a lot that's needed to get the Browns in the right place. They need to take slow steps and work on their other weak spots while using McCown and wait for a QB that's worth spending a high draft pick on in the next year or two. This year's QB class isn't as bad as 2013 but it's pretty mediocre.

And with Dallas, yeah who knows. There were rumors that Jones wanted Manziel a few years ago FFS.

I enjoyed the game. It was a good defensive game. I was rooting for Denver because I wanted to see Manning retire on a SB.

Apparently Cam Newton walked out on the media after he overhead TJ Harris' postgame conference. I understand you're upset, but you're the face of the NFL this year. Walking out like that makes you look like a cry baby, but you can surely celebrate when you win.

People are overreacting with Cam. He congratulated Peyton and shook his hand, something Manning didn't do in one of his losses (he was in the locker room before the game even over). He's a young guy who knows he was a direct factor in the team's loss. I'm not condoning his actions, but people need to ease up and chill.

The game itself was pretty sloppy and boring, it didn't feel like either team was playing nearly as good as they could of. But eh, that's fine. We've been spoiled with nail biting game after nail biting game for the past 15 years or so (which is a pretty amazing feat).

I remember when Brady and Belichik walked straight to the locker room after the Ravens beat them in the AFC Championship. Just because three legends have had lapses in sportsmanship doesn't make it right.

It's not like he started a fight or anything. He was a poor loser and will grow from it, and at this rate certainly won't be able to forget it.
