I've decided that I hate the ending.
Everything following Rhodey trying to walk is such trash and outright lessens any impact the film should have had on the universe by the end.

DISAGREE!
It sets up the secret avengers and helps "redeem" stark without fully sewing everything back together.

DISAGREE! It sets up the secret avengers and helps "redeem" stark without fully sewing everything back together. I hated Stan Lee's cameo so fucking much, it comes after two powerful scenes and is a tonal fuck up ala Thor TDW. I'm cool with Secret Avengers, I like the team splintering in two. I'm not cool with them resolving the film long conflict, after a great fight, with Steve calling Tony and going "s'all good G."

DISAGREE! It sets up the secret avengers and helps "redeem" stark without fully sewing everything back together. I hated Stan Lee's cameo so [funk]ing much, it comes after two powerful scenes and is a tonal [funk] up ala Thor TDW. I'm cool with Secret Avengers, I like the team splintering in two. I'm not cool with them resolving the film long conflict, after a great fight, with Steve calling Tony and going "s'all good G." The stan lee bit was my only gripe. Mainly because it kinda ruined the moment Iron Man was having with war machine. i liked cap sending the letter because it's totally what he would do. He's the kinda guy who would get half beaten to death then send a letter of apology to him. Plus they needed to show them breaking out so they don't have to explain it in their solo movies. well, mainly Ant-Man, I think. But it also sets the mentality and status for the rest of phase 3.
