On that topic, while All Star Superman is good, I don't think its as good as some fans make it out to be. To me, Superman Birthright is the best Superman story in the last 10 years.

I'm much, much more excited for Secret Wars.
Though I prefer DC, I don't have much attachment to the old DCU and I'm not interested in it coming back. In fact, the amount of hate I've seen for the New 52 over the last three years has made me despise the idea of DC reverting back to the pre-reboot continuity. I've always liked the New 52, and hoped that DC would keep working on it, make it a richer, better universe. I don't think the New 52 is going away, exactly, but I'm not certain it'll stick around as in its current form. So I'm quite likely to skip DC books for the months of Convergence, because I don't want to read it.
Secret Wars, on the other hand, really appeals to me because I love the history and legacy of the Marvel Universe, and the variety of stories and continuities they're bringing back excites me much more than Convergence.
So yeah. In this case, and I can hear myself cringing, make mine Marvel.
