Hi all, I thought i'd give my opinions on what each of the new DC book's are going to be like, so here we go.
This is fully speculation and opinion, don't take any of this as truth.
(why would you in the first place, it's coming from the mouth of buoy!)
Batman Beyond
W: Dan Jurgens
A: Bernard Chang
So, This will most likely be spinning out of Futures End with Terry and maybe Plastique? Other than that that's all we know about it.
Will I be picking it up?:No
Bat-Mite
W: Dan Jurgens
A: Corin Howell
Wow, so who saw this coming?
Not I.
So, a Batmite solo series, it's being classed as a humorous book which is no surprise, I wouldn't expect Frank Miller's Batmite to be a thing. This could be interesting.
Will I be picking it up?:Yes.
Bizarro(Mini-Series)
W: Heath Corson
A: Gustavo Duarte
Bizarro, hrm, I'm assuming this is the bizarro from the upcoming storyline in action comics so basically your average backwards superman. Again, this is a humour
book could be quite entertaining.
Will I be picking it up:Probably Not.
Black Canary
W: Brenden Fletcher
A: Annie Wu
Obviously Fletcher caught DC's eye with Batgirl and Gotham Academy because they're bringing in for Black Canary, this appears to be focused towards Arrow fans so expect some similar aspects from the show in this maybe? And Hawkeye's Annie Wu, this will be a very nice looking book.
Will I be picking it up?:No.
Constantine: The Hellblazer
W: Ming Doyle
A: Riley Rossmo
Constantine is in a new solo comic.
Uhh.
I don't know anything about him.
Will I be picking it up?:Nope, I'm just gonna stay ignorant.
Cyborg
W: David Walker
A: Ivan Reis
Yay! Cyborg's finally got his own book! DC will probably be trying to get cyborg out there as one of their big heroes in time for his cinematic debut in BvS. I'd expect this book to deal with some stuff from the Darkseid War due to Vic's ties to boom tubes n stuff.
Will I be picking it up?:Maybe.
Dark Universe
W: James Tynion IV
A: Ming Doyle
So, Dark Universe, that's the name of the Del Toro movie right?
Yeah, expect this to be something like that movie is planned to be.
Other than that... You guys probably have a better idea about it.
Will I be picking it up?:Nah.
Green Lantern: Lost Army
W: Cullen Bunn
A: Jesus Saiz & Javi Pina
So, a new green lantern book and the only other GL book other than the flagship title, I don't know much about GL but i'd have thought this will be a big space book focusing on the other members of the corps(e.g. Not Hal).
Will I be picking it up?:No.
Doomed
W: Scott Lobdell
A: Javier Fernandez
Doomed, that was the title of the last big Superman event, the cover doesn't feature Doomsday but it's possible that his presence will be felt in this book, which features a new character(i think) however it's being written by Lobdell so...
Will I be picking it up?:Hahahaha...No.
Earth 2: Society

A: Jorge Jimenez
Oooh, this sounds intriguing, we know that earth 2 is basically gone and this will be a big book spinning out of convergence. Possibly the earth 2 heroes form a secret society on earth prime? I'm not sure.
Will I be picking it up?:Most Likely.
Dr. Fate
W: Paul Levitz
A: Sonny Liew
Dr Fate, now this is a surprise to me.
Fate, as far as I'm aware, has only shown up in Earth 2 but, as mentioned previously Earth 2 is coming to Earth Prime, so it's possible that someone on earth prime gets the helmet, or maybe it's Earth 2 OG Dr Fate.
Will I be picking it up?:No
Harley Quinn/Power Girl (Mini Series)
W: Jimmy Palmiotti & Amanda Conner & Justin Gray
A: Stephane Roux
Harley Quinn has been a great financial success for DC so it's no surprise they are giving Palmiotti and Conner some more work to make money from. I guess this will be spinning off of the most recent arc in Harley Quinn?
Will I be picking it up?:No.
Justice League of America
W: Bryan Hitch
A: Bryan Hitch
This could be cool, I like hitch as a writer and enjoy justice league stories so yeah.
As to what the story will contain, no idea. The team appears to be the original justice league from the beginning of the new 52.
Will I be picking it up:Yeah, unless it's a ruse and it's a team devised of multiverse tim drakes...
Justice League 3001
W: Keith Giffen
A: Howard Porter
JL:3000 is one of my favourite books right now, plus it brought back OG Booster Gold and Blue Beetle(by OG i mean Pre New 52). I doubt this will be all that much different from the current book except well, it takes place a year later...
Will I be picking it up?:Yup.
Martian Manhunter

A: Ben Oliver
Like Cyborg, I expected a MM series sooner, i wouldn't be surprised if stargirl showed up in this though. It may pick up that plot line from the MM JLA back up stories but i doubt it. Also, expect Despero to be the bad guy.
Will I be picking it up?:I doubt it.
Midnighter

A: ACO
If you've been reading Grayson I'd assume this will tie in to current events in some way, or it will be stormwatch shenanigans I know which one I would want. This is one to watch if you like grayson.
Will I be picking it up?: If my grayson theory is correct, yes.
If I'm wrong, no.
Mystic U (working title, i think)

Ok, so tom king has proven himself as a great writer with grayson, this may tie into darkseid again, other than that, i dunno. Looks kinda cool.

I don't have a clue what this is, but robots are cool, so...

HAHA! WE TOOK STARFIRE FROM LOBDELL'S PERVY HANDS!
Get some clothing on her!
This may actually be a good representation of Starfire, again Palmiotti and Conner are getting more work and if Quinn is anything to go by, this one will be a keeper.
Will I be picking it up?:Most likely not.
We Are Robin
W: Lee Bermejo
A: Khary Randolph
TWO ROBIN BOOKS??
Hold up Buoy, this isn't you're average robin book, this is a book about what appears to be kids taking inspiration from Robin to become "robin". If the bat office has proven anything it's that they can make odd concepts work, so this is one to watch.
Will I be picking it up?:Yup.
