You know, I think these moves by Chip are going to work out big time.

Bradford at this point is an undiscovered prospect, and assuming the OLine is good Chip should be able to work his QB magic and him and let Bradford demonstrate that amazing accuracy. Plus he's got three great running backs to take the pressure off of Bradford 247.

Ok, so probably the biggest thing to happen in the offseason is the sudden competition in the AFC East. New York, Buffalo, and Miami are going HAM. Forget about New England for a second, how do you think those three will finish the year? I know it's way to early to say, but what are your thoughts so far?

In the long run, Miami will suffer for paying Suh that money. They will have to be competitive now. Buffalo and New York still have QB issues. Smith and Manuel aren't good enough to get their teams to playoff contention (at least Andy Dalton can do that). Miami would be the only one I would worry about, but who knows.

How would you feel if the Jets drafted Mariota. I'm starting to think that may be a real possibility. Their defense is in fine shape and is all locked up for years to come and they've got at least one receiver in Marshall. I'm not sure how their OLine is, but besides that and possibly the RB position, they've got one whole left and that's QB. Drafting Mariota could put them in a win-now mode, or at least prep them for the next few years. Miami's been busy as fuck this year. They just got Kenny Stills from the Saints.

I personally don't think Mariota is going to thrive in the NFL. He may, but I don't think any of the QBs this class are professional level ready.

But I agree, Miami seems to be the best overall out of those three. Buffalo, as of now, is built just to beat New England. Same with the Jets. If the Jets can solve their QB issues, I think that puts them back to where they were a couple years ago. Buffalo, even though they finished 9-7, may end up being last in the AFC East because of their QB issues. Really, now that all three of those teams have loaded up, they could be playoff caliber teams (but only if Buffalo and New York get long term solutions at QB).

The one team that could have really set Mariota up for success just went all in on Sam Bradford. The Jets have been historically terrible with drafting quarterbacks too, so that'd be a BIG if.

So, Big Ben signed a new long term extension i think he proved this year he's still got it. Oh yeah, I mean this was only his 10th year. Manning's 10th year was like 6 years ago and he's still got it.
