That seems like a lot for a movie that's titled Captain America: Civil War. Yep, who'd a thought that the film would follow up the events of the previous Captain America film and draw from the comic that it's named after. Because the entire MCU doesn't follow up the events of the previous films.... |

Because the entire MCU doesn't follow up the events of the previous films.... Well, it didn't because Bucky's arc has remained untouched since TWS, so... My point being is we are basically getting an Avengers 2.5 with recycled stuff left over from Winter Soldier and a cameo of a Spider-Man whose costume makes him look like a kid with Down Syndrome. Color Me Excited. |

I'm just not hyped for it. I'm not saying it will be a bad film. It most likely won't. The Russo's are good at what they do, but there's nothing about this movie that says it won't be much different than what we have been getting from Marvel, and I'm tired of the same old same old. Maybe I'll be proven wrong. Hopefully I am.

I think Jilly would be less pissed by this if instead of being called Captain America they called it something like Marvel's Civil War. I don't know, I need to objectively think about it. The Bucky storyline makes sense in where they're going with it. I just don't want to see Cap get less screen time than Iron Man in his own movie. I'm holding out some faith. |
