The problems I had with this were about the same amount I had with BVS. Still a solid movie. It's not even close to comparable in my eyes. BvS had trouble juggling their storyline and making their choices believable. This movie juggled the main story amazingly and juggle the numerous side stories with ease. Every character, no matter how miniscule their part was, had a tiny story that mostly had endings. The pacing was a tad off in the start I agree but not quite as bad as BVS. I still love BvS though.

Eh I disagree, I think the first half of the film suffered pacing issues a far greater deal than BVS. So many subplots brought up there I think could have been A. Handled better B. Cut out entirely C. Further developed on. For instance, why couldn't there have been a scene with BP and his dad before he died? Literally a minute after we establish the two are father and son the dad dies and I could not give a fuck, I was left numb. The thing with the mom was connected to a wholly unnecessary scene on a college campus that went on far too long to just say that Tony still has daddy issues. Couldn't he see the women's pleas on a television set so we can trim out an unnecessary 5 minutes of film? How about Peggy's funeral? Why is that here? To establish Steve is in a bad place? Because it's never brought up again or given any importance to the film or his character. If BVS had trouble juggling its multiple subplots (which I think is overblowing it) then CW downright let them all plop to the floor (which again is an overblown statement). The 2nd half onward is for the most part fantastic (minus that random no developed kiss scene with Steve and Sharon) that first half needed some heavy fixes.

I'd give both films the same score of a 4/5 but I lean more towards BVS.

I thought the editing was fine. The only thing that felt rushed was Peggy's death and funeral, but at least it wasn't anything major. And it's just a product of having so much in one film, not bad writing or directing, just not enough time.

But like I said, that really wasn't major so it's not a big deal.

Are you serious? We have to have a separate page for spoilers because a person doesn't have the common sense to not look into the movie thread after the fact the movie came out?

BvS didn't really have a single thread (or two) to follow. They just threw all the characters at us all at once (which wasn't the original intention) and we had to go from there. Aside from the Stark scene, it was basically just Cap with a dash of Bucky up until the merging general ross scene (which wasn't too deep into the film). Stark being confronted by a grieving mother and simply deeing her cry on TV are two very different things. He definitely wouldn't have felt the way he did if he didn't see her face to face and have an actual interaction with her. Peggy's what made Steve take a stance. The memory of her and her ideals reminded Steve to do the same and go against the accords.

Iron Man was a complete fucking hypocrite in the movie.
"We need to be put in check" *proceeds to have a show offy fight with Cap's team at an airport (which I'm sure they were able to evacuate in the 1 minute between someone saying they're evacuating then the actual fight).
I saw people flip flopping sides but he was going to kill an innocent man who was mind controlled out of his own vigilante justice.
Fuck Tony.

Then have the grieving mother confront him before he's about to enter a specific scene, why not have protesters outside of the Avengers facility? It can get the point across faster.

Like in New York. It was nearly nuked. Suits fault. Washington DC. With the ships that Stark and the suits built. And AOU, Stark, YOUR MOTHER FUCKING ROBOTS. Cap literally was none to blame for any of this shit.

BTW
The tribal music playing every time T'Challa came on screen was just as laughably bad as tribal music playing every time Diana appeared in a scene
Just... why?

Either get through to his friends first or let Ross and the rest of the world do it.
