If the Pats lose, I'm going to have the natural disappointment feeling, but I won't be too torn up about it.

This game is good. 28 - 28. NE had the momentum, but they just wasted it with a three and out.

My Dad: "I'm going to go take a shower. I feel dirty, because I just rooted for Baltimore, and they just lost to the Patriots."
I lost it.

It's Dallas' or Seattle's Superbowl to lose. Patriots will win the whole thing. Patriots defense can't handle Dallas' and Green Bay's high powered offenses. And no one can stop Lynch and Wilson. I think Seattle will repeat. They have the best defense in the NFL (the Patriots defense proved that tonight), and Russell Wilson is the most underrated Quarterback in the NFL. Marshawn Lynch is an absolute monster, and you can't pass rush against Wilson. Seattle's D will be able to limit any passing offense as they did in last years Super Bowl.

9 trips to the AFC championship, fifth time hosting it, four straight appearances, and five straight first round byes. Damn.

I'd love to see Carolina to make it to the Super Bowl. That'd be near impossible but I'd love to see it nonetheless.

I still have Dallas and New England in the Super Bowl.
Roger's leg worries me, and Dallas has proven to be a hot, clutch, and mentally tough team. Green Bay's close to unbeatable at home, but I think Murray can attack that D-line at allow Romo to make some plays across the field. Going into Seattle and beating in the regular season is one thing, doing it in the postseason (when they're hot, let alone) is another. But I think Dallas stands a better chance of it than anybody else. Dallas has the best o-line in football and that should create a stale-mate with Seattle's d-line. If Dallas can go back to that formula they had back in the regular season and give it a "reboot", I think they can beat Seattle. The greatest worry comes from Dallas's pass defense. They did a good job of stopping Detroit's run game as well as slowing down Megatron, but Stafford still had a fairly good, maybe even great. Russell Wilson may not be able to sling it like Stafford did, but he'll be able to move around. Stafford was under pressure the whole game and still did well, imagine what Wilson can do avoiding pressure. And of course, I hate saying it (especially after all the clutch games he's had this year) but Romo is a concern as well. Not a great one but a concern nonetheless.
New England on the other hand, they're in a similar but different situation. They've got ALOT to work on this week, but the win over Baltimore proves a lot. It proves that A) Resting their starters did come back to bite them but B) this is one of the most mentally tough teams in football. I cut them some slack because they were rusty, they were playing a physical, emotional, and rival team in the Ravens. This was the worst game for New England defensively since week 13, and week 4 before that. Let's not forget they were playing against Joe Flacco, who (even though it tears me up to say this) has a very good shot at becoming one of the best playoff quarterbacks of all time (if he isn't there already). Baltimore was likely the biggest test NE could have faced in all of the AFC playoffs. With Denver and Indy, they've already shown that they have the key mismatches to mess with them. If the AFC championship game was in Denver, I'd likley give the edge to Denver, but the fact that it's in New England is the deciding factor for me.

Side note: NFL officiating is terrible. They need to allow rulings to be challenged, and the refs need to be coached up. At this point it's almost as embarrassing as the replacement refs.

How big of kicker would it be if Dallas beat Green Bay and Carolina beat Seattle, and then Carolina came into Dallas and beat them? The irony would be crushing.
