THR said it will be a young, high school Pete.
Since then there has been a lot of other rumours about that kind of stuff.
This dude's saying "oh, yeah, pete isn't in this one and if he is he's gonna be from this ethnic background".
Which is what we've been hearing people say about spider-man in the MCU
E.g. Dan Slott who just today/yesterday spoke about how he would like to see pete played by an actor of a different race.
Basically, there's a lot more somewhat substantial proof for Young Peter than there is for Miles or Black Mexican Pete.

I honestly don't mind, as long as they pull it off well I don't mind.
But I think it would be a very silly mistake to make the main spider-man in the MCU a different one than Pete.

Also, after reading the first volume of Miles Morales: The Ultimate Spider-Man, I'd be down for Miles to be the Spider-Man of the MCU. I mean, I'd rather Peter, because he's Peter Parker... but I wouldn't be mad if they decided to go with Mr. Morales.

Miles Morales can choke on a hand grenade and die. If Miles is cast, I will never spend money on a Marvel Studios or Sony CBM again. Like I don't even care if they make Peter Parker not white, but it needs to be Parker.
