For example, Lex's "ping" bit at the end of the film felt a little too cheesy, but I think if we could have gotten a slow, deep, grim delivery of that it might have worked out a little bit better.

I thought Eisenberg as Lex was entertaining and he gave a solid performance, but I still don't know if that's what we needed. He wasn't putting on a whacky facade for the public, he truley was crazy and nervous. I was hoping that we'd get to see a toned down, dark version of Lex behind closed doors. Overall I'm fine with this Lex and am curious to see how he'll be written down the road, but I can't help but imagine his scenes and swap him out with a comic book-ish, serious version of Lex. It saddens me to say this, but I think if we would have gotten a serious and dark, or at least toned down, version of Lex that we're all use to the film and character would have improved. Yeah it seems like a waste. Snyder is obviously a huge comic fan so you would think he would go for a more accurate Lex but like you said he served his purpose and was entertaining all the while.

The pinging could have been left out completely... Hell I'd rather have him start scrawling Omega symbols on the wall and explain his crazy behavior by saying he was being half controlled by Darkseid. Then we could have had a more accurate Lex in another film

Another minor problem with this. If Batman doesn't really have any qualms about killing why the hell is Joker still around? He'll kill random thugs but not his most psychotic enemies? Like Snyder said, they were more "technical kills". If it didn't happen on screen, it didn't happen. I still don't like that justification. In The Dark Knight Returns the same issue occurs. Batman won't kill The Joker (so much so that The Joker kills himself) yet Batman shoots the "BELIEVE ME I'LL DO IT!" guy. When the "Believe me I'll do it" line comes up in the warehouse and Batman says the same thing, at least the argument can be made that KGBeast was just severely burned for life and not dead (even though anybody with common sense knows he should be dead).

Those cameos were [funk]ing great. Cyborg was totally like a horror movie. As was the first time we see Batman. I kind if laughed at the first time we actually saw Batman. Just clinging to the roof like a creeper. Coming for that ass

I can guarantee that Lex was Alexander Jr. just in case he was a disaster and then out of the shadows comes classic Lex Luthor. I hope they stick with Eisenberg though. With a bit of refining his Lex will be brilliant.

Did Dev like it or not?
He put up a sizable wall of text.

IIRC somebody, whether it be a news outlet or a producer, said Lex was rewritten when Terrio came on board. My guess is after Joaquin Phoenix declined the version of Lex that was like his comic counter part Snyder had Terrio "modernize" the role.

I really (REALLY) hate this shot, it's so lazy and static. The three characters all look unnatural and uncomfortable in it. It feels like it was only there to stick on at the end of a trailer. There's no build up to it, they're just there. Think of the round house shot in The Avengers, half of what makes it so good is the build up to it. How I'd change it (I'm imagining one shot): Doomsday in the middle of an evolution. He's beating the ground and roaring, electricity's flying everywhere. The camera moves to Wonder Woman. She's sprinting, at breathtaking Amazonian speed, towards Doomsday. She pulls out her sword and as she reaches him slices at his leg. Doomsday goes down on one knee, he throws a punch at Diana. She dodges it and slices at his arm. Diana leaps up along Doomsday's arm, she stabs him in the shoulder and leaps off into the air. In mid-air Diana pulls out the lasso and lassos Doomsday. As she lands she pulls on the lasso and whips Doomsday up into the air, I really want to show just how strong Wonder Woman is. She spins him around before firing him through the air towards an abandoned building. Doomsday is about to crash into it when.... SONIC BOOM! Now it's Superman's turn. He's beating Doomsday with everything he's got. Superman keeps Doomsday airborne through the ferocity of the attack. Superman's final punch sends Doomsday hurtling towards the abandoned building. But before he can hit... Batman grapples past, throwing two Kryptonite vapour batarangs into Doomsday's shoulders. The bombs explode, the dust causes Doomsday to roar even louder but the roar is silenced suddenly as he crashes info the building and it colapses on top of him. The camera now pans around to the clearing caused by the destruction. Wonder Woman, sword in one hand, shield in the other, is walking directly towards the rubble. Superman floats in from behind and lands at the same instant as Batman grappling in (landing in the classic Bat-stance). The camera lingers for a second or two as the Trinity march forward and then bam! Straight back into the fight with Doomsday. Thoughts? (that's not me being sarcastic fyi, I really did like it)

Who gives a [funk]? Yeah Beej! It's such a stupid little meaningless detail just like giving out The Joker's real name!

That was the KGBeast? How did that not click in!? Technically that was just his real name, his alter ego is never mentioned. In the comics KGBeast is all scarred and torn up, so who knows, maybe he'll return in a Batman film and want revenge for being nearly burned alive.

Or maybe he will retire because he had his flesh burnt and shouldn't mess with the fucking Batman! Or he could show up in Suicide Squad and end up like the cartoon version.
