BvS didn't really have a single thread (or two) to follow. They just threw all the characters at us all at once (which wasn't the original intention) and we had to go from there. Aside from the Stark scene, it was basically just Cap with a dash of Bucky up until the merging general ross scene (which wasn't too deep into the film). Stark being confronted by a grieving mother and simply deeing her cry on TV are two very different things. He definitely wouldn't have felt the way he did if he didn't see her face to face and have an actual interaction with her. Peggy's what made Steve take a stance. The memory of her and her ideals reminded Steve to do the same and go against the accords. Was that last part brought up in the film? Then have the grieving mother confront him before he's about to enter a specific scene, why not have protesters outside of the Avengers facility? It can get the point across faster. Because it's a Captain America movie not an Avenger's movie.

Iron Man was a complete [funk]ing hypocrite in the movie. "We need to be put in check" *proceeds to have a show offy fight with Cap's team at an airport (which I'm sure they were able to evacuate in the 1 minute between someone saying they're evacuating then the actual fight). I saw people flip flopping sides but he was going to kill an innocent man who was mind controlled out of his own vigilante justice. [funk] Tony. #TeamCap For all the stuff that has happened. Like in New York. It was nearly nuked. Suits fault. Washington DC. With the ships that Stark and the suits built. And AOU, Stark, YOUR MOTHER [funk]ING ROBOTS. Cap literally was none to blame for any of this shit. lol them goddamn Avengers are too blame! All of them! Not the shadowy organization or the dude who made a robot focused on annihilating the human race.

BTW The tribal music playing every time T'Challa came on screen was just as laughably bad as tribal music playing every time Diana appeared in a scene Just... why? The music was forgettable. That's the only real major problem I had with the film.

Yeah, there was some line about Steve knowing a woman that wouldn't back down in the face of danger or somethong like that. Not sure what the exact line is but yeah, it's brought up again later in the film.

It can get the point across faster. Because it's a Captain America movie not an Avenger's movie. Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh debatable. That's a different argument though. The Avengers Facility was brought up multiple times so it wouldn't be that hard to achieve.

Yeah that did irk me a bit, but then again, the government has never shown to be competent inside and outside of movies.

That's the only real major problem I had with the film. Music and cinematography for me from a behind the scenes standpoint. I really don't like the guy they had do this and TWS. And his doing IW so fuck me.

That's the only real major problem I had with the film. I just don't like the way the Russo Bros shoot their close up fight scenes. The airport and Siberia scenes were fine, but the opening scene and Cap v Bucky v BP were rough and hard to follow.

The music wasn't amazing for sure but that cinematography was great for a Marvel film.

Yeah me and James disagree about this movie ALOT it would seem. The music wasn't amazing for sure but that cinematography was great for a Marvel film. IM3, Thor 2 (god I can't believe I'm complementing it), and AOU had great cinematography. Everything was really crisp and had some edge to it. The way TWS and CW was shot was so sapped of life and everything felt flat, visually.

Okay I thought I was going crazy! That first fight was rough too understand. I had the same issue with certain TWS scenes, but they've definitely improved since TWS and with more big action scenes and CGI required characters coming the fights should only get better.

So I guess Martin Freeman's role in this movie was just to solely be established for Black Panther?
He had like two scenes the whole film.
