So, for those who are confused, this incarnation of Gwen Stacy debuted in last year's Edge of Spider-Verse #2. It's set in an alternate universe where Gwen was bitten by the radioactive spider, not Peter Parker, and is the drummer of rock band The Mary Janes. Peter was a heavily bullied kid, and to relieve himself of some of the pain, turned himself into this world's version of the Lizard. He died fighting Spider-Woman, who was blamed for his death, and she has now been ruled as an outlaw.
This series sees Gwen return to her world after the inter-dimeonsial shenanigans of Spider-Verse, and is a completely clean slate to reinterpret the Marvel Universe in a variety of ways.
I'm stoked to read it. Gwen is one of my all-time favourite comic book characters and this is just a genius idea.

Ha, love that second to last variant! The Skottie Young one? Yeah, it's pretty cool. I love all the other variants. They're fantastic.

Young's cover is brilliant, I was going to but the first few issues of this book but now I'm gonna blow all of my money on that variant.

I've always felt that Marvel can be hit and miss with their variants, not in this case, all of the covers are tempting to buy.
