Last year kinda felt like the another magnum opus for the NFL. Like, it feels like every three years we get one year where everything (i.e. storylines, mainly) come together for one grand showing before being reset the next year. I hope that makes sense. We saw all these story lines grow and then finally burst last year, and now with all the new change that happened in the NFL offseason, the juicy storylines that'll carry year after year will coming over time. Like, in 2011, we got to see the rise of the Seahawks and we finally got to see them at their peak last year (I'm not saying they're going to decline, certiatnly not, but it feel like we finally saw that team get pushed over the edge and then have to fight and succeed with that, which I love). Now, we've got to wait for now story lines to sprout up, which is still nice to see but not as cool as seeing the culmination of everything.
Again, sorry if that doesn't make a lick of sense. I had an idea in my head and then kinda lost it halfway through.

Tyler Eifert is going to be such a HUGE help for this offense this year. He and Dalton only played the first drive, but just having him on the field made a huge difference. Plus we have a couple of upcoming rookie TE's that look like they will make an impact as well. The offense is deep this year. Defense is the part that has me worried though.

Bengals schedule:
@raiders Chargers @ravens Chiefs Seahawks @bills @steelers Browns Texans @cardinals Rams @browns Steelers @49ers @broncos Ravens
That's a rough schedule (2nd toughest in league). That being said, people have The Bengals going 10-6 and 11-5. DAMN SON!

I can actually see it. Beating the Hawks in general and Cards at their place will be tough. The 49ers are on the downslide, and the rams are meh, so I expect to beat both. We should win both against Cleveland, but it's a divisional game so who knows. We swept the Ravens last year, and to be honest, I don't think they are that good, especially during the season, but I could see a 1-1 split at the worst. The Steelers will be tough. Offensively they are unstoppable, but defensively they are rebuilding. I could see a split or dropping both games to them. I expect to beat the Broncos (especially late in the season), Raiders, Bills, Chargers, and Texans. The Chiefs (who's I think will win the AFC West) will be tough, but we're good at home. So I would say 10-6/11-5 sounds about right.

The Ravens are a talented team, but their fan base really annoys me. Like, I honestly believe it's one of the worst fan bases in the league.

Like, they're one of those fan bases they doesn't respect their rivals. Like, I know that sounds stupid, but there's always been mutual respect between rivalries like NE-IND, PIT-CIN, GB-CHI, etc. Ravens fans don't show any a lick of respect towards other teams.

Ravens during the season are wild card worthy at best though; however, they somehow magically turn it up in the post season.

They act like they deserve the win and anything otherwise is bullshit. It's fans like that that ruin the fun for me. It's one thing to shit talk with a friend or somebody for a brief while, it's another to hold aggression and almost an edge like they do.

The Steelers and Packers got [funk]ed over by injuries in just 4 quarters. Loosing Pouncy is huge for Pittsburgh. They are a different team without him. Here's to crossing my fingers that Cincy evades that same fate tonight.
