Good trailer pretty much. Didn't really like the music.

I don't know why this is, but nothing about from the film thus far has got me hyped. I'm still thrilled with everything I've seen thus far and will definitely be there opening day, but it hasn't grabbed me yet. Kinda weird how this has done nothing for me but just about every little piece of footage DOFP put out made me bust a nut.

Well I think the villain is certainly new and innovative I don't think that's what he's getting after. DOFP was a film juggling two ensemble casts, two periods, and multiple timelines. Apocalypse looks like a pretty straightforward doomsday film thus far. Aside from them being the X-Men and a popular X-Men villain coming to the big screen, there hasn't been much of a unique twist or selling point. Although, to be fair, the film is still two months out. |
