Honestly, when you listen to everything Lucas has to say it's perfect.
Then you watch some of the film snippets and go "HOW DID YOU FUCK SOMETHING SO PERFECT UP THIS BADLY?!", and then you weep at the the notion of that.

If it were up to me, I'd minimize Yoda's appearance in the prequel trilogy to build him up more. Maybe just stick to his voice for the first episode and a half. And then NEVER show him with a lightsaber or fighting. He'll, swap out Mace Windu with some other jedi when Mace goes to fight Palpatine in his office, and then have Mace fight Palpatine at the end or something. Just don't make the character that can lift an x-wing with his finger use a lightsaber.

I also read somewhere that the weird factory scene from episode II was an off the cuff scene and wasn't scripted. Sheesh.
