This is true. Only a few stuck around afterwards and they were apart of Vader's personal skwad. Yep and they probably went the way of the others too since clones age rapidly. The ones we see on Rebels are looking to be approaching 60 in human years. I think Rex was the only "super trooper" from the Clone Wars to break free and avoid Vader's squad, but yeah, they look like shit.

It ties into a later season of Clone Wars.

Gonna start reading Tarkin tonight.
Honestly, I get a little giddy reading these SW books because I'm learning more from the world. I know the old EU did that but honestly I never took any of that as canon, it was just too much material to ever find and a lot of it could be awful. I didn't even consider anything from the EU stuff canon at all until the Clone Wars series.

Thrawn isn't the most bad ass of villains but he is pretty cool.

I don't give a fuck about the new expanded universe now that we will be getting a fucking Star Wars movie every year.
It's wierd knowing that our generation will be the first to get sick of the series.

The first book in the new canon came out last September (2014) I believe and that was "New Dawn" which I've read. Those are the following books that have been released. There are a few more already out after those as well. Generally there's a new novel every two-three months.

The EU interested me before because we didn't get that much Star Wars.
There were a lot of space between films and the books were a way to get your fix but one film a year plus Rebels will be more than enough to wet my Star Wars appetite.
I hope they get that live action Star Wars show off the ground too.

I never thought we'd get another Star Wars film but now that we are I have fully returned to how I was 10 years ago on an all time Star Wars high.
